CUFF LYNX is an electronic production duo consisting of members Jordan Hatzialexiou and Matt Ogle. After starting the project in college as a DJ act in 2012, the two quickly became interested in producing original music with an emphasis on original live performance.
At the beginning of 2014, CUFF LYNX unveiled their debut live performance with vintage analog synthesizers, guitars, bass, samplers, and drum machines all synced with contemporary music technology and custom lighting. Their signature sound of intertwined bass lines with relentless drums and synthesizers, is laced with subtle nods to their influences from the past and today.
Taking inspiration from the dark stylings of artists such as Justice, Danger, and Ministry while equally showing a pop indie influence from artists like Todd Terje and Broken Social Scene, CUFF LYNX is continually interweaving emotional tones while actively cultivating a lost form of dance music. Their work has led them to play with, and remix acts like Digitalism, HEALTH, Hot Chip, The Knocks, Tesla Boy and Toro Y Moi.
