Volunteer with Summer Meltdown Festival!

We are seeking awesome, hardworking, music-loving volunteers for Summer Meltdown Festival this July 28th-31st, 2022. Volunteers support the festival in a variety of ways, including parking, ticketing, greening, and much more. In addition to helping Summer Meltdown pull off an amazing 4-day event, volunteers add to the incredible vibe of community found onsite. We invite you to join us in creating this one-of-a-kind celebration!

Volunteer Requirements

Pre-Event: To apply, each volunteer must complete the online application and submit payment for the $60 impact fee. Impact fees help offset the costs of the volunteer program, including volunteer t-shirts, meals, and onsite perks. Any applicant who is not accepted to volunteer will receive a full refund of their impact fee; otherwise, this fee is nonrefundable.

Festival Weekend: 

• Volunteers must submit a $270 deposit prior to the festival weekend. This deposit will be refunded in full upon completion of your volunteer obligations. 
• Volunteers MUST arrive at the venue no later than 7pm on Wednesday, July 27th in order to complete volunteer check-in and attend the volunteer orientation. 
• Volunteers work a total of 12 hours, divided into 2 shifts. 
• Volunteers must follow Summer Meltdown’s rules and guidelines, which help ensure the safety and integrity of our event!

Volunteer Benefits

In exchange for their amazing contribution to the festival, volunteers receive: admission to all 4 days of the festival, free parking, a special volunteer t-shirt, one meal per volunteer shift, PLUS the satisfaction of being a part of the magic that is Summer Meltdown!

Volunteer Camping

Volunteer Camp is located in a portion of the Meadow Campground. This beautiful, grassy campground is located within a short walk of the venue. Please note that this campground is tent-camping only, so all vehicles must remain in the parking lot.

Volunteers are required to camp in the area designated for volunteers. The GA camping areas are reserved for patrons who have purchased the opportunity to camp in that space. Thank you very much for your understanding as the festival aims to be sustainable for decades to come, and respectful of all who participate.

Please complete the online form and pay the volunteer impact fee to submit your volunteer application. Select TWO preferred shifts (ONE per day). Please note that shift requests are not guaranteed, and you are likely to receive an evening shift even if you did not request one.
